Thamalakane River Lodge Mobile Safaris

Thamalakane River Lodge offers tailor-made safaris in prime wilderness areas. The lodge’s friendly shuttle service will collect guests from Maun International Airport and transfer them to the lodge. Guests will depart early morning from the lodge in open safari vehicles with specialised guides. On arrival at the mobile tented camp, the staff will greet guests with lunch and refreshments. Guests will then be shown to their en-suite tents and have a chance to unpack and settle in. The late afternoon is spent on a game drive through the wildlife abundant areas, followed by sundowners, before ambling back to camp in time for showers and a 3-course meal prepared by experienced chefs on an open fire. Here, guests can relax around the fire after dinner and relive the day’s highlights. The following day begins with an early morning wake-up call with hot water brought to guest washbasins. Tea, coffee, and an assortment of light breakfasts are served before guests set out to explore the large variety of game offerings. Later, guests will head back to the camp for a large cooked brunch and siesta. After tea, guests can enjoy another game drive followed by sundowners, before ambling back to camp in time for showers and a 3-course meal.
