The Crab Shack

The Crab Shack is a community-run restaurant located at the edge of the mangrove forest at Mida Creek, near Dabaso village and Watamu. Built by the Dabaso Creek Conservation Group, it supports local conservation and education efforts. Accessed via a boardwalk through the mangroves, the Shack offers views of Kirepwe Island and is a popular spot for bird watching. The menu features locally sourced fish, prawns, and sustainably farmed crab, alongside snacks and drinks.
