East Africa Encounter

Adventure City Group Guided Safari

Discover the richness of East Africa on this SMALL GROUP GUIDED JOURNEY  of 15 days through Kenya and Tanzania. Tracing the path of the Great Migration, the itinerary offers the chance to witness vast herds of wildebeest and zebra moving across the plains—one of nature’s most remarkable spectacles—while also revealing quieter moments in equally compelling landscapes.

The journey takes in some of the region’s most celebrated national parks and reserves, including the Serengeti, Amboseli, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire, as well as the dramatic Ngorongoro Crater. Each destination offers its own distinct character, from sweeping savannahs and acacia-dotted plains to lush highlands and wildlife-rich waterways. Travelling in a small group, you’ll benefit from a relaxed and more personal safari experience, with expert guidance throughout. Accommodation is carefully selected, with stays in comfortable lodges, charming chalets, and permanent tented camps that place you close to nature without sacrificing ease.

Day 1
1 Night

Welcome to Kenya. On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel, where you can unwind and settle in for a comfortable overnight stay.

This guided small group journey is based on use of mid-range African standard lodge accommodation, situated either in national parks, on the banks of a river, or in other places of interest. The accommodation will be a mix of lodges, chalets and tented camps, all with ensuite facilities. Some properties are equipped with swimming pools and/or bar areas. Travel is undertaken in fully equipped, customized, 4×4 safari vehicles, Toyota Land Cruisers, or other appropriate vehicles.

All travelling times in Kenya and Tanzania are affected by road conditions, border crossings, detours and weather conditions, therefore on certain days travelling times may be longer than anticipated especially where there is a great distance to be covered. Please keep in mind that the time it takes to travel 100 km in your home country is not equivalent to the time it takes to travel 100 km on African roads, therefore we encourage you to sit back and enjoy the spectacular scenery Africa has to offer. Where possible additional stops will be made to ensure your travelling comfort at all times. While every effort is made to follow the planned itinerary, adjustments may occasionally be made in the interests of timing, conditions, or overall experience. Most breakfasts and dinners will be enjoyed in the restaurants of the various accommodation establishments. Lunch packs are provided for driving days and excursions. Alternatively, the guide will prepare lunch en-route.
