About Chinhoyi
The provincial capital of Mashonaland West, Chinhoyi is best known for a series of limestone and dolomite caves located roughly eight kilometres from the town. The main cave contains a vivid blue pool that plunges to a depth of 110 metres via a series of sub-aquatic tunnels that are popular with experienced scuba divers. Mysteriously, the water maintains a constant temperature of between 22 and 24 degrees, right down to the base of the chamber.
