Umzinto

Located on the south coast of the province of KwaZulu Natal, the town of Umzinto is named after the Mzinto River. This charming town serves as an excellent base from which to explore the incredible surrounding landscapes and attractions. Highlights include: the breathtaking scenery of the Vernon Crooks Nature Reserve, featuring coastal forests and vast grasslands; snorkelling, fishing, swimming and surfing at the numerous pristine beaches and spotting over 300 species of bird and a variety of wildlife including eland, impala, blue wildebeest and bushbuck.
