Umdoni Park Golf Club is one of the South Coast’s hidden treasures, offering breathtaking sea views and a uniquely scenic golfing experience. Set within 200 hectares of indigenous coastal forest, the layout combines natural beauty with strategic challenge. Established in 1920, the course features dramatic elevation changes, particularly at the par‑3 16th and par‑5 18th, both played from elevated tees where distance control is essential. The front nine follows the ocean, while the back nine winds through dense forest, creating a memorable contrast in atmosphere and play. Despite measuring just over 5,560 metres, Umdoni remains a true test and has hosted top amateur events. The recently renovated clubhouse offers panoramic sea views, making it an ideal place to relax after a round.
