North Sands Bluff Lighthouse (Port Edward)

The Port Edward Lighthouse is officially named the North Sand Bluff Lighthouse. This 24 metre tall lighthouse was originally built in 1968, and was subsequently rebuilt in 1999. Previously, visitors to the North Sand Bluff Lighthouse could enjoy refreshments at the on site coffee shop and climb up the 5 storeys of spiralling stairs inside the lightouse to enjoy a view over Port Edward from the top of the lighthouse (except on windy days). As of mid-2012, the Port Edward Lighthouse is no longer open to the public.
