Kruger and Orpen Memorials

The bronze plaques known as the Kruger Tablets commemorate the formation of the Sabi Game Reserve and later the founding of the Kruger National Park. You are able to get out of your car to view the Kruger plaques. Not too far south, you will find the Orpen Klippe or Orpen Rocks, where a plaque commemorates the Orpen family and what they did for the park.
