Saxenburg Estate

It is a picturesque wine estate featuring breath taking views over the Table Mountain, a game farm, a guest house, the award winning Guinea fowl Restaurant, and is in close proximity to Cape Town.

From a wine making perspective it is unique, being able to produce both excellent white and red wines. With oceans on both sides, the cool sea breeze is perfectly suited to the Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc process, as it acts as a cooling system to the vineyards while the sun on the hillside ripens the grapes to create the velvety taste that has become synonymous with Saxenburg’s red wines.
