About Goede Hoop

Just off the old road between the towns of Stellenbosch and Kuils River, in the valley known as the Bottelary Kloof, Goede Hoop encompasses an old farmhouse built in 1880 set on a 120-hectare estate on the slopes of the valley. In 1928, the Bestbier family purchased the wine estate, and today Pieter Bestbier is a third-generation winemaker at Goede Hoop. Wine tastings are free of charge for groups of up to thirteen guests.
