De Meye

The De Meye Estate is a family-owned boutique winery, situated in the lush Mulservlei area on the Stellenbosch Wine Route, South Africa's most prestigious winemaking region. This special little spot of the earth has been home- and farming ground to the Myburgh family for five generations, with the estate being named after the De Meye river in Holland, the birthplace of the first Myburgh, who came to farm in South Africa in 1665. The family is proud that despite current industry trends, they have remained a privately-owned estate, keeping up the original spirit, and staying true to authentic and sustainable winemaking and business practices.
