Bloemendal Wine Estate

Bloemendal began as a fruit and vegetable farm supplying fresh produce to Dutch East India Company ships passing the Cape on their way to the East, but grape farming began on estate in the late 1800s and it has been producing quality wines ever since. At the estate’s ‘Wynhuis’, visitors can enjoy wine tastings and cheese platters as well as breakfast and lunch. Bloemendal also has a boardroom available for private functions.
