Pandamatenga

Chobe National Park, Botswana

About Pandamatenga

The small farming town of Pandamatenga began as a trading outpost in colonial times and later served as a link between Zambia and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. This wilderness of bushveld and dunes is located in the far northeast of Botswana near the border with Zimbabwe and has its own airport. It serves as a gateway to Chobe National Park in Botswana and Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe, where you can enjoy excellent game viewing, bird watching and bush walks. Both parks are home to over 100 species of mammal, including the Big 5 - elephant, lion, buffalo and more elusive leopard and rhino.
