Thamaga

Thamaga is one of the largest villages located in Botswana's Kweneng District. Dominated by the Bakgatla-ba-ga-Mmanaana tribe, the is headed by a traditional chief. The picturesque settlement is set among large rock formations including the Thamaga Hill. The villages are talented in the art of pottery, with items like tableware, candle stands, platers and tea sets produced daily.
