Gallery Tours Ngonga Cave

Located in Zanzibar, Tanzania, Gallery Tours Ngonga Cave offers visitors a spectacular cultural experience. Visitors will travel to Muyuni village to experience the daily life of Zanzibaris. Here, visitors will be introduced to the traditional beliefs of Zanzibar by entering the sacred Ngonga where Bamba ceremonies take place. The ceremony consists of a doctor who allows spirits to take control of him and make a diagnosis of the afflicted. Visitors are welcome to ask questions about the way in which the villagers incorporate their beliefs into everyday life.
