Location, location, location! Zanzibar Watersports is based on the northern tip of the island. Advantageously, this enables our clients to enjoy some of Africa’s best deep sea fishing grounds. The channel between Zanzibar and Pemba, in particular, is an internationally renowned site consistently providing first-rate big game fishing opportunities. With large schools of Barracuda, Wahoo, Kingfish and Giant Travelling in the area all year round, and seasonal visits from many other species such as Marlin, big game fishing with Zanzibar Watersports will be a thrilling experience you will never forget! Three professional deep sea fishing boats are on offer. Joint Venture, Timimi and Suli Suli are all equipped to the highest international safety standards; all our boats are inspected every year by the marine authorities and all have passed every time with flying colours. We also equip them with the latest fishing technology with GPS navigational devices, echo sounders and fish finders. Half and full day charters are available on all the boats and if you would like to do a longer trip then three or five-day charters to Pemba, Mafia Island and Latham Island can also be arranged on Joint Venture, which is fully set up for up to five people.
