Arusha City Tour

Beginning with a pickup from your Arusha hotel by our guide in a 4×4 safari vehicle, heading into the heart of this lively northern Tanzanian city. Often called “the Geneva of Africa,” Arusha has long played an important role in regional politics and diplomacy - hosting the original East African Community in the 1970s, the UN Rwandan Genocide Tribunal for over 25 years, and now serving as the seat of the reformed East African Community. It is also home to the Tanzanian National Parks headquarters, the East African Court of Human Rights, and regional government offices.

Despite its official stature, Arusha’s character is equally shaped by a vibrant farming and business community, along with its position as the tourism hub for northern Tanzania’s safaris and treks.
