Wild Frontiers Machame Route Day Trip is a 6-hour hike that provides a scenic view of Mount Kilimanjaro's glacier and rock formations that are resplendent with icefalls, chasms, snowfields, and excellent climbing terrain. The tour begins at Machame Gate and moves through the montane rain forest to Machame Hut (3000m) and includes a picnic lunch en-route. After resting for half an hour, hikers descend to the Machame Gate.
