Hotel de la Plage Whale Watching

Guests and visitors are provided with the opportunity to view humpback whales via ocean safaris. The whales migrate to the warm waters of the Indian Ocean each year in July to breed and give birth. The whales head back to the south pole at the end of September when the calves have grown strong enough to survive the journey.
