Njozi Camp

Njozi is a small and intimate camp with just six guest tents, plus a two-bedroom family unit, making it one of the smallest camps in the Serengeti region. The tents are spacious and inviting, each featuring a stunning wildlife photo. Comfortable beds can be set as twin or double (king size), and decked out with high quality linens and duvets. A large wardrobe allows you to unpack and settle into your safari home, while also creating a nice wall that separates the dressing area and en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has a large vanity, well lit mirror, and copper sink that has running water. There is a flush toilet and a sizeable shower area. The showers are the typical bucket shower set up found throughout the Serengeti area where the staff will deliver hot water that is hoisted above your tent to allow for a delivery through a normal shower head in the privacy of your own tent. Our showers do operate on a convenient turn know though, unlike the typical overhead chain system in most camps. A solar power inverter system provides electricity for tent lighting and the charging of batteries and electronic devices. Each tent has a covered veranda with safari chairs to enjoy the outdoor environment.

The Njozi Family Tent is actually two full size guest tents that are joined together by a spacious living room area. This is the best family style set up because there is are two en-suite bathrooms at the two far ends. Typically one bedroom area is set up with a double bed and then twins or three singles can be set in the other bedroom for kids. The living room area is furnished with a couch, chairs and ottomans, a wonderful place to relax and play cards, board games or just hang out. For a family with more kids, or for example cousins that want to share the living room furniture can be reduced and more beds can be placed in the living room to comfortably sleep 2 adults and 5 children in the family unit.
