About The Hooting Owl
The Hooting Owl Guest House is a unique African Thatch Bush-Veld Lodge set in a coastal environment. This hidden jewel was custom-built to blend harmoniously into its surroundings. Located in Marina Beach, on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, approximately 185 Km south from Durban’s King Shaka International Airport.
Two, six & eight sleeper, self-catering accommodation, (sixteen guests maximum).
Gay & Nudist friendly. Relaxed, discrete and definitely not a party venue.

The Eagle-Owl Cottage
The self-contained guest cottage is double storey, which can accommodate up to a maximum of eight people. On the ground floor the master bedroom with queen-size bed, has an en-suite bathroom, which also boasts an outside shower area in a secluded garden.
The Scops-Owl Cottage
The Scops-Owl Suite has its own entrance, via a private patio, which is ideal for a sundowner or braai (barbeque) under our huge Natal Mahogany tree. The suite has rustic features in a modern style with a queen size bed, en-suite glass shower.
The Wood-Owl Lodge
Each of the three bedrooms contains a queen-sized bed, bedside tables with lamps, dressing table with stool, wardrobe hanging space and a drawer unit. All rooms have an en-suite rock effect shower, a rock effect wash basin and a toilet. Hair dryers.
