About Botha House
Less than 1 hour’s drive from Durban, situated in the heart of one of the KwaZulu-Natal’s most pristine coastal forest, perfectly nestled within the Umdoni Park, lies the luxury coastal getaway of Botha House.
With it’s relaxed atmosphere and country charm, find yourself ideally positioned to enjoy the full South Coast experience. Botha House offers fantastic diving, deep-sea fishing and birding opportunities all within a short walk or drive.
Comprising 6 exquisite double en-suite bedrooms, Botha House can comfortably host up to 12 visitors. The rooms offer king and queen size beds with panoramic views and ocean vistas.
Sumptuous breakfasts as well as 2 or 3 course home cooked dinners are served from the grand dining room or sun filled terrace. Dinners are served as set menus from Mondays to Saturdays and have to be booked one week prior to arrival.

Standard Suite

Lovely room with TV/DStv, bathroom with shower. Private patio with seating. Partial sea views. WiFi can only be accessed in the main house - Library, terrace or lounge.
Courtyard Suite
Small room with TV/DStv, garden view, air-conditioned. Shared seating area on public veranda in the Courtyard Garden.
Family Unit
2x air-conditioned king / twin bedrooms sharing shower and toilet. Small but fully equipped kitchen. Built-in braai to the rear of the cottage. Veranda with partial sea views. Serviced daily. TV/DStv in one bedroom. Large outdoor shower.
Forest Cottage
This rustic Cottage is the perfect escape from the modern world. Based between Umdoni Golf Course and a forest the tranquility will engulf you.
