About Blue Sky Mining Backpackers & Lodge
The Blue Sky Mining offers clean, comfortable and affordable accommodation to backpackers, sportsmen, holiday makers as well as business men.
Come and explore this spectacular hostel and lodge consisting of dormitory rooms, en suite single/double/twin/triple rooms, self-catering units, tented camping sites as well as DIY camping facilities.
All accommodation (except camping) gets serviced on a daily basis to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
We have got a massive garden with two rock swimming-pools and a lovely sundeck, pool-table, fireplace entertainment area, off-street parking, jungle gym, licenced bar and inhouse restaurant, inhouse nursery and travel desk.
IMPORTANT: Please be advised that we no longer provide communal/shared braai and self-catering facilities.
For those in need there is FREE WIFI well as a transport services available at low rates.
Lucky you, pick ups from Amanzimtoti the "Total Garage" are free of charge within 8am to 4pm (shuttle service to be booked in advance, minimum of 2 nights required).
Enjoy a hearty breakfast or traditional 'Durban Curry' and many more munchies in our subtropical garden being surrounded by magnificent coca nut, banana and papaya trees.
Along the main road we have it all...restaurants and pubs, supermarket, takeaways, laundromat, chemist, post office, video store & ATM.
Go surfing, deep sea fishing, horseriding on the beach, visit Crocworld, explore Durban City, book a game drive and lots, lots more!

Either three bunk beds, or one double and one single bunk, private toilet and shower, ceiling fan.
Campsite
Communal facilities, swimming-pool, ablutions, off-street parking, pool-table, sundeck, jungle gym and self-catering kitchen. Guests to provide own camping gear. The rate excludes the usage of a powerpoint. Camper-vans and/or Rooftop Tents are welcome.

Two separate beds, ensuite toilet and shower, celing fan

Single bed.
Tented Camping Site
Included in the Tented Camping Site is the usage of the tent, 2 x single beds and bedding, the communal bathroom as well as self-catering facilities. The unit rate excludes the use of a power-point at the campsite,

Self-catering Unit
The unit consists of one bedroom (air-con), one bathroom (toilet, shower and bath), kitchen, lounge with TV as well as balcony (great seaviews).
