Southbroom village is a 2km drive away and consists of numerous facilities, from a lovely coffee shop, supermarket and a hair salon to a laundry, chemist, bottle store, a spa, and so much more. Riptide Beach, the main beach with a tidal pool is a further 2km away. Southbroom also features the award-winning 18-hole Southbroom Golf Course, which recently hosted the 2013 South African Ladies Open, as well as a tennis and bowling club.
