About Kruger Sunset Lodge
Kruger Sunset Lodge is situated in Mjejane Game Reserve which is part of the greater Kruger National Park. Mjejane was incorporated into Kruger and has 10 km river frontage on the Crocodile River. Kruger Sunset Lodge is situated on a savanna where plains game and predators roam and hunt. The lodge is strategically placed and great care was taken to afford visitors the ability to view the bush from anywhere in the lodge. Huge folding doors open across the span of the living and dining room on both sides. The bedrooms have seven by three meter high sliding doors ensuring that you are always part of nature. Feeding Kudu, waterbuck, bushbuck, duiker and warthog are seen daily on the grounds of the lodge. An array of birds are also daily visitors and one can even spot the rare Ground Hornbill. Studying these creatures up close in their natural habitat is fascinating and priceless. While the lodge has natural stone and wood in its design there is an unmistakable sense of luxury. The delightful volumes are enjoyable yet functional at the same time. The design enables you to enjoy activities with companions but has spaces where one can contemplate more privately and enjoy alone.
