About Sable Sleepover Hide
Sable Sleepover Hide is situated approximately 10 kilometres from Phalaborwa Gate in the world-renowned Kruger National Park. It offers guests a unique accommodation facility where they can feel part of nature. A bird hide by day, it transforms into a primitive overnight dwelling in the evening, where guests can experience African nightlife first hand, hearing the lion roar or the hippo grunt meters away from where they are sleeping.
The Sable Sleepover Hide offers backpacker-style accommodation for a minimum of 2 guests and a maximum of 9 guests. The sleeping units are contained in wooden structures that are locked to the inside wall and pull down to construct a light single bed base, while mattresses can be found in the cupboard and bedding is available at reception. Additional on-site facilities include a boma with braai facilities and an environmental toilet available in a separate area on the hide perimeter. A light that operates for about 5 hours can be provided on request.
