About 10 Hill Street
The village of Barrydale is situated on the scenic R62 in the
Overberg region in the Western Cape, South Africa, known for its wine routes, dried fruit and the Tradauw Pass.
The R62 was voted one of the top ten best road trips in the world by CNN Travel.
This route meanders through the Little Karoo with very characteristic seasons as can be seen in the beautiful succulents and wild flowers which adorns this region.
Our House and Cottage are situated together, yet private. In May 2018 we started with the renovation of an old ‘nagmaal huisie’ (historical cottage used for a sleep over by farmers of yesteryear to attend Holy Communion) as well as the additional building situated on the same land. We are now proud to present the newly released House or Cottage (or both).
