About Medina Palms
Medina Palms - a luxury five star property located on 7 acres of prime seafront land with its own private beach area, and leading onto the powder white sands and crystal clear waters of Watamu Beach in the protected Watamu Marine National Park.
Medina Palms’ architecture follows the lines of a Moroccan medina with a waterway running through the entire property from the entrance and down towards the ocean. Accommodation is in a choice of 1 or 2 bedroomed suites, 2-bedroomed Penthouses, 3-bedroomed Ocean Lodges and 4-bedroom Ocean Villas – all of which have separate living areas, kitchens and verandas. Penthouses, Ocean Lodges and Beach Villas also have private rooftop terraces with plunge pools.
On site guest facilities include Amandina a’ la carte restaurant, a tapas bar, a tree-top star lounge, and a shady coffee garden. The property also offers our Sakina Ocean Spa with 4 treatment rooms and an aqua spa treatment room, a fitness centre and our popular Medina Children’s Club.
Activities on offer include paddle boarding, scuba diving, snorkelling, sailing and deep sea sport fishing (tag and release) as well as a kite surfing, sunset dhow cruises, dolphin spotting and safaris to Tsavo East National Park.

Medina Suite
This luxurious and elegant suite, approximately 1,000 square feet has been designed for total comfort and features a large en-suite bedroom with king size bed, open plan fully equipped kitchen with dining area. The living area has large glass balcony doors, which open onto tropical gardens and pools.
Medina Deluxe
Designed with relaxation in mind, this richly appointed suite measures approximately 1,500 square feet creating a feeling of home with peaceful colour tones and chic décor. It features two large en-suite bedrooms with king size double/twin beds, open plan kitchen with dining area coupled with spacious living areas that open up onto tropical gardens and pools.
Medina Penthouse
This architecturally inspired creation is approximately 3, 200 square feet and features an internal courtyard with high vaulted ceiling. There are two large en-suite bedrooms with king size double/twin beds on the first floor along with an open plan kitchen and dining area. Above is a roof top that has a spacious lounge with terraces and a private plunge pool.
Medina Ocean Lodge
Set high at tree-top level to catch the sea breeze, this lodge measures approximately 3,300 square feet offering lovely views of the ocean. It features three large en-suite bedrooms along with an open plan kitchen and dining area. On the roof top, located on the third level is a relaxation terrace that has a private plunge pool.
Medina Luxury Three Beach Villa
This stunning and luxurious beach villa set amidst palm trees, measures approximately 4,400 square feet offering views of the ocean. With opulent spaces throughout, the villa has three large en-suite bedrooms, chic ground floor living areas, a kitchen and a dining area. The upper terrace has a relaxation lounge, another kitchen/bar entertainment area and a plunge pool.
Medina Luxury Four Beach Villa
A magnificent beach front villa of approximately 4,800 square feet overlooking the Indian Ocean. Enjoy this truly magical location with direct beach access. It features four large en-suite bedrooms with ocean views and a well-appointed kitchen. High on the private roof terrace, there is a generously spaced lounge area that offers a deluxe plunge pool to relax in as you enjoy the expensive views over the ocean.
