Welcome to Pian Upe Game Reserve
Located in the northeastern reaches of Uganda, the Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve is set on a stretch of semi-arid land covering an area of over 2500 square kilometres. It is the largest wildlife reserve in the country and the second-largest protected area in Uganda, after the Murchison Falls National Park, which is one of the most beautiful natural attractions in the country. Visitors can view the spectacular peaks of Mount Kadam, learn about the local Karamaja cultures, and spot an array of wildlife, including cheetah, leopard, lions, spotted hyena, buffalo, greater kudu, eland, topi, oribi, dik-dik, and the last of Uganda’s roam antelope.
