The 3 day programme includes the chance to meet well known poets and appreciate their poetry in a relaxed and intimate ambience, to encounter new, exciting talent and to engage with other lovers of the spoken word.
The whole town takes on a festival atmosphere with events at a number of venues including Temenos, Wahnfried, The Edna Fourie Gallery and Villagers.
No festival is complete without great food and there are a number of excellent pubs and restaurants serving local wine and food.
