Gregorian Rift Valley

The section of the Eastern Rift Valley known as the Gregorian or Gregory Rift Valley stretches over 6000 kilometres from northern Syria in the Middle East to Mozambique in Southern Africa. It features an array of glistening lakes, volcanoes, craters, endless desert landscapes, majestic mountains, and ancient rolling hills. Visitors can look forward to a variety of exciting activities such as exploring the majestic Tanzanian volcanoes of Ngorongoro, Empakai, Olmoti, and Lengai; discovering Lake Natron, a vast mineral lake; and viewing the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.
