Koornlands Restaurant

Koornlands Restaurant is undoubtedly one of the finest restaurants in Swellendam. Offering Cuisine du Cape on an A La Carte Menu, the restaurant specialises in locally produced game meats and beef. Crocodile sashimi and kudu fillet are regulars on the menu, as is a specially prepared T-bone Steak. A tasting menu is also available.

Koornlands has had a long association with Swellendam. The owners - and chefs - Marianne and Steve Altham have lived in Swellendam since 1994. They opened Koornlands a year later.

The wine list features wines exclusively from the local region.
