Guided by world-renowned local chef and restaurateur, Darren Badenhorst, Tuk Tuk Microbrewery promises an exciting and fresh offering of globally inspired dishes and locally crafted beers to what has quickly become a landmark Microbrewery on Franschhoek’s main street. Guests can be seated indoors (interiors exude an industrial feel with its vaulted ceiling, exposed brick and sandblasted walls, and copper and stainless steel service pipes running overhead) around the microbrewery and watch fine craft beer being expertly brewed right in front of them, or outdoors where they can indulge in a globally inspired menu offering alongside the bustling main street. The all-day dining menu is a globally inspired offering showcasing casual regional favourites from Germany, Spain, Mexico, America and various other parts of the world. Specialities include incredible tacos, traditional eisbein, pizzas, gambas chorizo, creative S’mores and Tuk Tuk Lager beer batter fish and chips, just to name a few.
