Elephant & Barrel

The Elephant and Barrel Village pub has become somewhat of an institution in Franschhoek with locals and visitors alike. Its the only English Pub in the valley, its' owner operated and is located in Huguenot Square just off the main road behind French Connection restaurant.

You can expect great quality pub grub [try the famous steak or burger], draught beer and wines from the valley as well as a selection of cocktails and cigars.

Live music on either Friday or Saturday nights and a roaring fire during the winter months.
