Manandona

Situated just south of the city of Antsirabe in Madagascar’s Vakinankaratra Region, Manandoana is a town and commune in the heart of the island’s central highlands. It is set within the Antanarivo Province near the northern border of the neighbouring Fianarantsoa Province. The surrounding countryside boasts undulating green hills and farmlands with Manandoana set amidst this incredibly scenic beauty. Visitors can look forward to strolling the streets of the town to view picturesque scenes of the interesting buildings and traditional huts dotting the lush green landscape, visiting a roadside fruit stall to sample the locally-grown fresh produce and learning about the Betsileo ethnic group of Madagascar who call this area home.
