Ragati Conservancy

Consisting of afro-montane forest and afro-alpine heath, the Ragati Conservancy lies on the slopes of Mount Kenya. The Ragati river and its tributaries flow in the conservancy, making it a home to wildlife such as elephant, buffalo, leopard, rare mountain bongo, crowned eagle, African clawless otter, and birdlife. Also in abundance is rainbow trout fishing.
