Migori

Located in Kenya’s Nyanza Province the town of Migori is set just north of the Tanzanian border. This vibrant multi-ethnic commercial centre is the capital of the region. To its west lies Lake Victoria which provides access to Uganda. It serves as an excellent base from which to explore the Masai Mara National Reserve. Visitors can look forward to an array of activities including spotting varied and prolific birdlife such as blue flycatcher, blue-spotted wood dove, harrier hawk, bat hawk, baglafecht weaver, tawny eagle, purple grenadier, beautiful sunbird, yellow-billed stork, hadada ibis, African citril, Cape turtle dove, paradise flycatcher, yellow-white eye, white-browed robin chat, black-headed gonolek, black kite among others.
