Marsabit

Located in Kenya’s northern Marsabit County, the town of Marsabit is flanked by the Marsabit National Reserve and the Marsabit National Park, making it a paradise for travellers who enjoy outdoor adventure. The town provides all the services expected of a remote base, including lovely shops, restaurants, and facilities. The breathtaking landscapes of the National Park are characterised by lush forest, an oasis of green in the midst of an otherwise arid region, and are decorated with extraordinary extinct volcano craters. The Gof Sokorte Guda lies a beautiful lake, fringed with gorgeous woods home to a diversity of prolific bird and butterfly species. Visitors to the park may also spot the rare Grevy’s Zebra, as well as elephant, rhino, lion, and many other animals.
