About Maramagambo Forest
Situated near the Queen Elizabeth National Park, Maramagambo Forest is bordered by two lakes, Kyasanduka and Nyamasingiri. The forest is well-known for its bat caves and hosts a number of primates such as chimpanzees, Bates's pygmy antelopes and red-tailed monkeys. The area is a popular spot for various activities which include hiking and birding.
