Mabira Rain Forest

The Mabira Rain Forest is located in the district of Buikwe in the east of Uganda's capital city, Kampala. Spanning over 300 square kilometres, the rain forest is home to the endangered Cordia Milllenii and approximately 312 other tree species. In addition to the fauna, the rain forest is also a great destination for bird lovers looking for exotic bird species, with approximately 315 bird species, visitors will be spoiled for choice.
