About Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve

Located between the Blue Mountains of the Congo and Lake Albert within the Albertine Rift, Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve is a recognised reserve since 2002. Covering an area of 87 square miles, the reserve is home to a wide variety of wildlife such as buffaloes, primates, antelopes, and hippos, as well as over 460 bird species. In addition to viewing the wildlife, tourists can enjoy a variety of activities, including fishing, fossil hunting, mountain biking, quad biking, horseback riding, and guided nature walks and hiking.
