Sunbird Hill

Sunbird Hill is a nature monitoring and rewilding site located beside Kibale National Park in Uganda. It supports a wide variety of wildlife, including hundreds of bird and butterfly species, as well as primates, dragonflies, reptiles, frogs, beetles, wildflowers, and indigenous trees. The site is governed by the NGO “In the Shadow of Chimpanzees” and works with local communities through initiatives such as village bird clubs, contributing to conservation and ecological restoration efforts.
