Nestled underneath the Western wing of Buganda’s Lubiri Palace in Kampala, Uganda, Idi Amin's Torture Chambers were originally built as a means for better storage of gunpowder. Later on, the chambers were converted into torture chambers where thousands of prisoners were tortured and executed.
