Tukuyu

Formerly known as Neu Langenburg, the hillside town of Tukuyu is situated just south of the city of Mbeya. It is set at an elevation of around 1520 metres in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania. It serves an ideal stopover for visitors travelling between Tanzania and Malawi. This small town is set in the heart of rolling hills and orchards near Lake Nyasa. Visitors can look forward to the network of hiking trails traversing the undulating landscape, which is blanketed in tea plantations and banana-palm groves.
