Kipili

Set on the southeastern shores of Lake Tanganyika, Kipili is situated close to Tanzania’s western border with the Republic of Congo. Kipili is an old mission station reached by a beautiful road that meanders through the stunning Lafwe Game Reserve. Visitors can look forward to soaking up spectacular lake and island views from the hilltop ruins of a church built in the 1880s. A must-do activity is snorkelling in the waters surrounding the offshore islands known for their rocky points which are ideal for underwater explorations.
