Vilafonté Wines

The Vilafonté winery is positioned in Stellenbosch at Bosman’s crossing, at the slopes of the mountain.

The vineyard is 16 hectares near the Simonsberg Mountain in Paarl. The wine estate focuses on Bordeaux varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec. They also produce two different ranges, called Series M and Series C. One side of the vineyard yields rounded fruit-driven style grapes whilst the other side produces a bolder more structured style. Series M gets its name from the Malbec and Merlot which symbolize the style of this wine. Malbec brings the fruit aromas, while the Merlot adds softness and Cabernet Sauvignon provides structure.
