About Stellenbosch Hills

Stellenbosch Hills traces its roots back to the Vlottenburg Co-op, established in 1945. Initially, wines bore the Vlottenburg label until the area gained recognition for its unique terroir. Consequently, in 2003, the name was changed to Stellenbosch Hills to better reflect the esteemed reputation of the region and its distinct winemaking identity. Visit the tasting room for unique pairing options. Indulge in delightful combinations like popcorn and wine, featuring Polkadraai Pinot Noir Sparkling Rosé with cupcake-flavored popcorn, Chenin Blanc/Sauvignon Blanc blend with salted caramel, Rosé with cinnamon-and-pretzel popcorn, and Pinotage/Merlot blend with dark chocolate popcorn. Additionally, enjoy the classic South African pairing of biltong and wine.
