Stellenbosch Hills traces its roots back to the Vlottenburg Co-op, established in 1945. Initially, wines bore the Vlottenburg label until the area gained recognition for its unique terroir. Consequently, in 2003, the name was changed to Stellenbosch Hills to better reflect the esteemed reputation of the region and its distinct winemaking identity.
