Bottelary Hills Conservancy

Bottelary Hills Conservancy is an expansive area in Stellenbosch where private landowners strive to preserve the beautiful Bottelary Hills and its endangered fauna and flora species. Through ongoing work to clear alien vegetation, the conservancy now has more than 550 hectares of unspoilt Renosterveld. At the same time, dedicated community programmes and projects address the socio-economic challenges of the people living and working on the farms within the area. Bottelary Hills' major drawcards is its 92-kilometres mountain biking network through rolling hillsides, conservation areas, vineyards, and farmland.
