Including the oldest cactus in South Africa (Anno 1910) you will find an OUTDOOR collection of over 2500 different registered succulent plants from all continents. This is not a garden for quick stroll; your hosts Herman and Yvonne entertain their guests with an Interactive Exploration of the succulent life in South Africa (during opening days at 11 AM sharp).

Soekershof is also home of the world's largest hedge-maze with visualised local folklore as orientating beacons; a truly original and humoristic reflection of life. Besides the maze and the succulent gardens this 10 hectare large estate houses a.o. a Philosophers Garden, French Succulent Garden and a Dry Garden. Soekershof is also home of Land Art Project in South Africa (Earthwork Mama Africa, Tree of Growing Creativity, etc.) Since 2006 certified by Fair Trade in Tourism.
