Siyakhana Food Garden

Siyakhana Food Garden is located in the middle of Bezuidenhout Park within the inner city of Johannesburg and is considered a hallmark of agro-ecology in the wider Johannesburg area.

Siyakhana meaning ‘We build one another’ is not only a food garden where visitors can buy organic greens the Siyakhana Initiative for Ecological Health and Food Security works to improve food security, increase access to nutritious and sustainably grown foods, and raise awareness of the impact of ecological health promotion.

A variety of vegetables, herbs, and fruit are available at the Siyakhana Garden.
